Risto Paldanius is the Vice President, Energy of Wärtsilä leading the Americas business area. Wärtsilä Energy provides dispatchable and flexible grid balancing engine power plants, energy storage and services for both solutions. Our vision for the energy market is to lead the path to a 100% renewable energy future. Risto is very excited about Wärtsilä’s portfolio as it enables companies and countries to move forward with their decarbonisation targets. Risto has over 25 years’ experience in the energy sector from OEMs, utility, and consulting sides of the sector. He has master’s degree in Power Plant engineering.
