Paul F. Browning, President and Chief Executive Officer, Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Americas (MHPS-AMER), Inc., was appointed to this position in April 2016. Headquartered in Central Florida, the company has over 2,000 employees and operates manufacturing and repair centers for the electric power generation industry. Over the past several years, Mr. Browning has reshaped the company and expanded its footprint throughout the United States and Latin America. Browning has extensive global leadership experience in distributed and central power generation solutions, as well as in North American midstream and downstream oil and gas operations. Prior to joining MHPS, Browning was President and Chief Executive Officer of Irving Oil Company Limited. Before joining Irving Oil, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of the Thermal Products Division of GE Power & Water. At GE, he and his team developed new power generation products and sold and executed utility-scale power projects throughout the world. Earlier in his career, Browning worked for Caterpillar Corporation in a variety of leadership positions, including Managing Director of Caterpillar Motoren in Germany and Vice President of Turbomachinery Products for Solar Turbines in San Diego, California. He began his career at GE Corporate Research and Development in Niskayuna, New York. Mr. Browning holds a BS from Carnegie Mellon University, as well as an MS from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
