Oliver Beaufils

Associate Director of Energy Strategy

Olivier is a Director in the Energy Transition practice for S&P Global. He has an extensive experience managing and delivering consulting projects in the energy transition space, in particular in the hydrogen, power and natural gas sectors for utilities, energy companies, oil and gas majors, governments, and private-equity funds on strategy, transactions, public policy, and market analysis. Prior to joining S&P Global, Olivier was a Managing Consultant with Wood Mackenzie. He also worked for Areva (now Orano), a leading nuclear energy company, as a business and policy analyst for Corporate Strategy. Olivier graduated with a Masters in Global Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Austin, Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs. He also holds M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from CentraleSupelec and in Energy Economics from the Institut Francais du Petrole (IFP School), both in Paris, France. He speaks fluent English, French, and Spanish.
