Special Advisor to the Clerk of the Privy Council and Deputy Minister of Finance on Decarbonization

Mollie was recently appointed as Special Advisor to the Clerk of the Privy Council and Deputy Minister of Finance on Decarbonization, in addition to her role as Associate Deputy Minister at Natural Resources Canada. Prior to her current position, Mollie served in three positions at Natural Resources Canada: as Assistant Deputy Minister, Energy Systems Sector, as Assistant Deputy Minister, Communications and Portfolio Sector; and, Director General, Policy, Major Projects Management Office. She has also held executive positions at Environment and Climate Change Canada and the Competition Bureau; and served as a senior officer in Legislation and House Planning at the Privy Council Office. Mollie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario, and a Master’s Degree in International Affairs from Carleton University’s Norman Paterson School.
