Business Development – Energy Transition
Katie Zimmerman helps Wood’s oil and gas clients understand the role hydrogen will play in the push toward net zero. She is currently working to promote Houston as a major, global hydrogen/carbon capture and storage hub (H2-Town) and is partnering with Wood’s global energy clients to promote a more sustainable and resilient future. Katie joined Wood in 2006 as an intern. She has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas and spent 10 years in various engineering and project management roles in offshore oil and gas and shale sectors. In 2022, Katie was honoured at the Houston Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business and at the Women in Hydrogen 50 awards.
