As Chairman of the Oil and Gas Holding Company (nogaholding), His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa is leading the industry’s transition toward sustainable and responsible energy production in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Under His Highness’ leadership, nogaholding is setting a comprehensive plan to ensure the energy sector continues to serve as Bahrain’s economic artery and growth catalyst. The plan will maximise value creation while exploring alternative energy sources. His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa is at the forefront of energy transformation, driving the development of the National Energy Strategy, which provides a framework for sustainable and resilient energy access. At the heart of his vision for nogaholding is His Highness’ commitment to a sustainable transformation that is aligned with Bahrain’s net-zero goals, pledged by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, at COP26.
