Frederic Lasserre is heading GUNVOR Research & Analysis team, a team of 20 oil market analysts, quants and data managers. Frederic joined GUNVOR in September 2020 as Global Head of Research & Analysis coming from TOTAL OIL TRADING (TOTSA) where he had held a similar position since 2016. Frederic started his career at SOCIETE GENERALE Corporate & Investment Banking as an oil analyst. He has then built-up and managed SOCIETE GENERALE’s commodity research team for 12 years. Frederic holds a Bachelor in Applied Mathematics from the University of Bordeaux (France), a Master in Banking & Finance from the University of Birmingham (UK) and a PhD in Economics from the University of Bordeaux (France).
