Ben Ratner

Executive Director

As Executive Director in Sustainability at JPMorgan Chase, Ben Ratner leads external stakeholder engagement on climate and sustainability issues, across the spectrum of investors, NGOs, thinktanks, and select corporates. Ben also directs sustainability grantmaking, and engages on non-financial climate and energy related public policy. Previously, Ben served at Environmental Defense Fund for ten years, where he led the organization’s efforts to collaborate with energy companies, institutional investors, and banks to advance climate action and the low-carbon energy transition. A graduate of Stanford Law School and Rice University, Ben is an environmental lawyer and management consultant by training, with roots in Washington DC.
