Global Head of Business Development - Seeds

Barrett Barr is the Global Head of Business Development for Syngenta's Seeds business.  In this position Barrett has resonsibility for differentiating key commodity crops like corn, soybeans, and sunflowers, creating value for growers and offtake partners.  In this position, Barrett has as a focus on using agriculture to create low carbon intensity feedstock sources for the transportation sector, using regenerative cropping systems. Prior to Syngenta, Barrett spent 15 years at John Deere in positions of economic analysis, corporate strategy, and technology strategy.  Barrett has a BS and MS in Economics from Iowa State University, and MBA from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.
