As an energy executive working for Equinor, Anish Simon is at the forefront of shaping the energy transition to a Net Zero future. In his role as Vice President of Emerging Technologies & Innovation, he is responsible for delivering high-impact technology integration and implementation to shape Equinor’s future. His believes in understanding business challenges and addressing them through transformational and scalable application of technology and innovation. Technology focus areas for his organization include; AI/ML , Quantum Computing, Automation, Blockchain, AR/VR, Fusion, Distributed Energy Systems, DAC, CCUS etc. Prior to this role, Anish held various technology and business leadership positions within Equinor including the role of Field Development Manager in the Gulf of Mexico. Anish holds a Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering & Material Science from Texas A&M University.
