Bob Gwin is President of Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, responsible for leading the company's worldwide operations, project management, exploration, midstream and marketing, as well as Anadarko's expanding next-generation technology development and systems solutions. From March 2009 until his promotion to President in November 2018, Mr. Gwin served as Executive Vice President, Finance and CFO. Mr. Gwin also is a director of Western Gas Partners, LP and Western Gas Equity Partners, LP (collectively the "Partnerships"), serving as the Chairman of the board from October 2009 through November 2018. He also previously served as President and CEO of the Partnerships until 2010. Mr. Gwin joined Anadarko in January 2006 as Vice President, Finance and Treasurer and was named Senior Vice President and a member of the Executive Committee in March 2008. Mr. Gwin is the former Chairman of the board of LyondellBasell Industries N.V. (NYSE: LYB) and currently serves on the boards of the MD Anderson Cancer Center, The Greater Houston Partnership, Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS) and Communities in Schools (CIS). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute.
