Thomas M. McDonald is the Chief Executive Officer and a Co-Founder of Mosaic Materials, a carbontech startup based in Alameda, California. Mosaic’s breakthrough adsorbent technology was originally developed by Dr. McDonald at UC Berkeley. From 2015 to 2017, he was an Activate Fellow in the Cyclotron Road program at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Dr. McDonald received his BA in chemistry from Northwestern University and a PhD in chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley.
