Dick Brown

Eagle LNG Partners

Chief Executive Officer

Dick Brown, President and Chief Executive Officer, the Ferus Group of Companies, founded Ferus in 2001 as an energy services company specializing in the production and off-road supply of cryogenic fluids for well stimulation and enhanced oil recovery. Ferus has grown to become the leading provider of industrial gases to the Canadian energy market, and it had, at one point, expanded its operations into the US Appalachian and Rockies regions. In 2010, Mr. Brown recognized the opportunity for natural gas to fuel the high horsepower market in North America, and he has since created and positioned Ferus Natural Gas Fuels (Ferus NGF) and Eagle LNG Partners (Eagle LNG), a wholly owned subsidiary of Ferus NGF LP, as North American leaders in the natural gas fueling business. Mr. Brown has over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to Ferus, he held several key management positions at Amoco Petroleum Company Ltd., before founding, growing, and successfully divesting two independent oil and gas companies. Mr. Brown holds a degree from the University of Alberta.

IMO 2020 is just around the corner. Will shipowners contemplating newbuild orders look to LNG bunkers as a viable option? Is the LNG bunkering infrastructure developed enough to support trade on a global basis, or will this be more for regional trade?
