Alex Jensen, SVP for Global Retail, is based in London and accountable for BP’s global retail and fleet business spanning 14 countries and comprising 18,700 branded service stations and serving 10m customers a day under the BP, Aral and Amoco brands. The Retail business is a material part of BP’s downstream business with high returns, significant growth track record and future growth potential. Alex joined BP in 1991 and she has held a number of senior management roles across BP’s convenience retail, fuels value chains, road transport fleets and lubricants businesses. Alex has an MA from Oxford University in Chinese and an MSc in Business from Stanford University. She speaks English, Mandarin, German and French. She is also a Trustee of Mind, UK’s largest mental health Charity, and Chair of Aral AG Supervisory Board.

However, there is renewed interest in “reintegration” and securing demand—notable in emerging and pre-emerging markets—for a future where demand plateaus.
