Portfolio Manager

Nathan Strik is a Sector Leader and Portfolio Manager in the Equity division at Fidelity Investments, a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, and other financial products and services. Mr. Strik oversees the global research effort for energy and utilities and establishes positioning recommendations for both the sector and industries within the sector. He is also responsible for covering the Global Integrated Oil & Gas companies. Additionally, he manages Fidelity Select Natural Resources Portfolio, the international energy sleeve of Fidelity International Equity Central Fund, and the MLP sleeve of the Fidelity Strategic Dividend & Income Fund. Previously, Mr. Strik was a Portfolio Manager and member of the Stock Selector Large Cap Group from 2010 to 2013. He also worked as an Assistant Portfolio Manager on Fidelity Management & Research Company’s Value Team. His past work includes serving as an Assistant Portfolio Manager for Fidelity European Growth Fund at Fidelity International Limited (FIL); as an Analyst at FIL; and as a Research Analyst at FMR. Before joining Fidelity, Mr. Strik was a Research Analyst at Palo Alto Investors and a Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group. He has been in the financial industry since 2001. Mr. Strik earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical engineering and his Master of Science degree in industrial engineering and management sciences from Northwestern University, as well as his MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He was a captain of the 1997 Northwestern University football team and was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in 1998.
