Alexander Klein, Director, US Market Fundamentals, National Grid, is responsible for fundamental research of electricity markets and the modeling of low carbon pathways. His prior experience includes leading strategic initiatives at GE, including originating a range of research projects with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) across solar, energy storage, digital, and grid technologies, with the goal of reducing the environmental impact of electricity generation. Prior to GE, Mr. Klein led IHSMarkit’s US and global renewable power advisory services. Throughout his career, Mr. Klein has advised senior management, boards of directors, and governments regarding the alignment of strategy to the trends in power and renewable markets.
