Robert Kreider, Head of Light Ends: North America, Trafigura Trading LLC, joined Trafigura’s Geneva office as a naphtha trader in 2012. Mr. Kreider became Global Head of Naphtha/Condensates Trading three years later. Trafigura is a leader in the commodities business. The group’s primary trading businesses are the supply and transport of crude oil, petroleum products, renewable energies, coal, refined metals, ferrous and non-ferrous ores, and concentrates. In 2017 Mr. Kreider relocated to Houston as Head of Light Ends, overseeing gasoline, naphtha, and condensate books in the United States and leading Trafigura’s refined products trading for North America. Prior to joining Trafigura, Mr. Kreider worked as a naphtha trader for LITASCO for over six years, and was based in both New York and Singapore. He holds a science degree in bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania.

The irresistible force of rising crude oil NGLs production in the United States and Canada combined with limited demand growth, rising biofuels use, and integrated low-cost refining position the United States for refined products export growth. How much more refinery and logistics infrastructure modifications are needed?
