General Manager, Technical Computing

Kim Boone is the General Manager of Technical Computing in Chevron’s Energy Technology Company (ETC) and serves as its champion for delivering digital technologies across the enterprise. Kim also serves on the internal advisory board for Chevron Technology Ventures, a subsidiary that drives the early adoption and commercialization of emerging technologies. Before being named General Manager in January 2018, Kim served in two key cross-functional business roles: first as the Business Development and Planning Manager for the Gulf of Mexico (GOM) business unit, where she was responsible for managing P&L while guiding the execution of annual focus items and quarterly milestones, and secondly as the Project Assurance Manager for Chevron’s Project Resources Company (PRC). Since joining Chevron in 2007, Kim has been selected to leadership positions of increasing responsibility in PRC, GOM and ETC and she has played a key role in driving functional excellence across the value chain and delivering results that have contributed to the enterprise’s $1B in digital value. Prior she served as a manager in the energy practice at Accenture and as a structural engineer for Flour Daniel. Kim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Texas A&M University.
