Gary Schuback is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Ekona Power Inc., a Vancouver-based company that is developing a novel pyrolysis platform for low-cost, clean, industrial-scale hydrogen production. Mr. Schuback also serves as the Marketing Director for Innovative Breakthrough Energy Technologies (IBET), a company-creator for building new ventures and high-impact technologies that will combat global climate change. He has an extensive background in the hydrogen and fuel cells industry. Mr. Schuback is also a Professional Mechanical Engineer with over 25 years’ experience developing and commercializing new clean energy technologies. He has extensive experience with both technology innovation and business development and has helped navigate several products from early prototype to commercial sales. Mr. Schuback builds strong relationships with his partners and customers by developing a deep understanding of their technical and application requirements and delivering solutions that meet the needs of their business. He previously worked for Ballard Power Systems, where he held a variety of positions, including Product Manager; Key Account Manager; and Director, Sales.
