H.E. Ing. Rocío Nahle García

HE Rocío Nahle García, Secretary of Energy, United Mexican States, began her career in the Petrochemicals complex of Pajaritos, Cangrejera and Morelos of PEMEX, where she worked in the administrative, financial, process, planning, and quality control areas. In addition, in the private initiative she has worked in Industrias Resistol. HE Nahle García is a member of the Ingenieros Pemex Constitución de 1917 (G-17) and of the National Committee of Energy Studies (CNEE) of Latin America and the Caribbean. She has been an advisor to the Energy Commission of Mexico’s Chamber of Deputies in the LIX and LXI Legislature and the Senate of the Republic in the LXII Legislature. HE Nahle García has been a speaker at the Energy Reform Forum in 2008 and 2013 and in the Senate of the Republic. In 2015 she was elected Federal Deputy for the 11th District of Veracruz and Coordinator of the Parliamentary Group of Morena in the Chamber of Deputies. HE Nahle García holds a degree from the Autonomous University of Zacatecas (UAZ), a diploma from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), and a diploma from the Universidad Veracruzana.
