Almir Alemic

Head of Knowledge Architecture

Almir was born in Bosnia and came to the United States as a refugee. He grew up in Upstate New York, where he attended Syracuse University, studying Physics. During his time at Syracuse University he worked as a researcher for the LIGO project, which successfully made the first detection of gravitational waves in 2015. After school Almir worked at Eye Surgeons of Central New York, updating their Electronic Health Records system for the transition to a new diagnostic code system. Almir has been at Maana since 2015, building solutions to optimize and improve processes at some of the largest names in energy.
