Research & Analysis Director, Marina View

Ilke Karayigitoglu, Senior Director, APAC Power, Coal & Renewables, IHS Markit, specializes in analysis of South East Asian gas and power markets and is the consulting lead in the Asia – Pacific region. He has 16 years of consulting and industry experience in the energy business working across the whole value chain including upstream, downstream, LNG and power & renewables markets. He has worked with NOCs, power utilities, independent energy companies, oil service companies and government agencies. His work experience spans across Asia, Americas, Middle East and Europe. Before joining IHS Markit, Ilke spent seven years at Wood Mackenzie’s consulting practice, most recently as Director of Gas & Power consulting. Prior to that, he had worked at Schlumberger Business Consulting in Singapore, Mercer in Chicago, as well as Aygaz, the Turkish downstream energy company. Ilke holds a BS from Istanbul Technical University and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He is based in Singapore.
