Timothy Stephure, Director, IHS Markit, is a leading power expert in the Latin America Energy group. His research focuses on renewable energy technologies, tracking the competitive positioning of industry players, analyzing key technological shifts, and assessing the impacts of regulatory and policy changes on the power sector across Latin America. He leads several regional research teams and shapes the research agenda for gas and power analysis across Latin America. Prior to joining IHS Markit, Mr. Stephure worked as a Senior Analyst for Emerging Energy Research’s wind and renewable power generation advisory services. Fluent in French, Spanish, and Portuguese, Mr. Stephure holds a bachelor’s degree and an MSc from the University of Calgary.
