Erik leads MUFG’s award winning Project Finance Group in the Americas; he has been with MUFG for 8 years and previously led the firm’s project finance activities in the energy and natural resources sector. He has 28 years of experience as an advisor and arranger of large financings for energy and infrastructure assets in the bank and capital markets across the Americas. Prior to joining MUFG, Erik worked for Citigroup, JPMorgan, and UBS in similar roles, as well as acting as a senior advisor to the US Department of Energy. Erik holds a BA in Economics from Cornell University and an MBA in Finance from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business. Prior to entering banking he served as a shipboard officer in the United States Navy.
