Rebecca Yergin is an Associate in the Covington & Burling’s Washington, DC, office, where Ms. Yergin is a member of the firm’s Communications and Media and Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Practice Groups. At Covington, an international law firm, she counsels technology companies on a wide range of federal and state privacy and data security laws and regulations. She also advises clients on Federal Communications Commission compliance issues. In addition, her practice focuses on the regulatory ecosystem for the Internet of Things (IoT), including legislative and regulative developments related to connected and automated vehicles. Ms. Yergin holds a BA in history (Distinction in Major) from Yale University, an MS in special education from Hunter College, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Columbia Law School.
