Sara Graziano

SVP of Corporate Development

Ms. Graziano is senior vice president of corporate development at Vistra Energy, responsible for strategy development, analytics, and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Vistra Energy in October 2016, Graziano was a Principal at Energy Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on investing in North American energy infrastructure, with more than $13 billion in commitments and a track record of investments in the power generation space. She was involved in all areas of the firm’s investment activities, including fossil and renewable power generation, midstream oil and gas, and energy and industrial services. Prior to joining Energy Capital Partners, Graziano led the strategies and analysis group at FirstLight Power Enterprises, an Energy Capital portfolio company that owned and operated approximately 1,400 MW of primarily hydroelectric plants in New England. Her group was responsible for asset optimization, commodity trading and hedging strategies, and business development activities. Before joining FirstLight, Graziano spent four years at Charles River Associates, consulting for clients in the power and natural gas industries, with a particular focus on the development of proprietary tools for fundamental and statistical modeling of commodity prices and volatility for use in asset valuation and risk management. Graziano received a bachelor of arts in Economics from Wellesley College and a masters of business administration from Harvard Business School, where she was a Baker Scholar.
