Charles has extensive technology and engineering experience including R&D, intellectual property management, process technology development and deployment and technical service in refining, petrochemicals, conversion technology, lubricants and fuels. Prior to joining Centrica in 2016, Charles was BP’s head of technology, downstream and was a member of the downstream executive team. He also spent 20 years in Paris with the French Institute of Petroleum and held corporate roles in marketing, planning and mergers and acquisitions.
