EVP & Chief Operating Officer

Chris Chandler, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Plains All American Pipeline, L.P., is responsible for the US and Canadian operations and engineering organizations. Mr. Chandler joined Plains in May 2018 as Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning and Acquisitions. He came from Phillips 66 where he worked for 24 years, most recently as General Manager, Corporate Strategy. Previous roles at Phillips 66 and predecessor companies include General Manager, Midstream Commercial and Business Development, and General Manager, NGL. Mr. Chandler has served on the boards of the Western States Petroleum Association (WSPA) and the Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association (LMOGA). He has twice been a speaker at International Petroleum Week in London and has presented at other industry conferences. He currently serves as the chairman of the board for the Memorial Assistance Ministries in Houston, Texas. Mr. Chandler holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.
