Lisa M. Smith is an executive and digital strategist who has spent over 30 years at the intersection of business and technology. She has overseen technology deployment for the 1996 Olympic Games, global e-business for John Deere, the American Bureau of Shipping’s subsidiary Nautical Systems, a commercial maritime ERP, the launch of new service companies in the U.S. and India and consulting engagements for the Fortune 500. Lisa now spends her time immersed in blockchain, smart contracts and the emergence of new business models that will result from distributed ledger capabilities. She holds an MBA from Emory University, a BS from the University of Iowa and has completed Executive Management programs at MIT and Dartmouth business schools.
