Retail Fuels Marketing: Back in fashion

Retail fuels marketing is an integral part of the downstream oil business, but a cycle of divestitures and spin-offs has transferred large parts of the labor and capital elements, if not the brand, away from oil companies, notably the oil majors. However, there is renewed interest in “reintegration” and securing demand—notable in emerging and pre-emerging markets—for a future where demand plateaus.
