Adapting to climate change

Wednesday, March 11

11:30 am - 12:30 pm

Many scientific predictions call for an increase in the severity and frequency of potentially destructive climate events across the world. But for owners of infrastructure in risk-prone areas, adaptation to climate change is already underway. How are companies (and governments) planning for and funding for an environment in which events that are now “acute” may become chronic. How are organizations assessing risks to assets and operations? How may organizations change to plan for this scenario? What capital allocation decisions need to change to prepare?
