Do I have to make my own hotel reservation?
Yes. Once you register, you will receive a confirmation letter along with details for booking your hotel accommodations at the Hilton Americas. Please book as soon as possible as rooms tend to sell-out quickly.

Do I have to register in advance or can I register on-site?
Due to security restrictions, registrations need to be received in advance of the Conference. Registering in advance ensures that you will have all of your credentials and conference materials available upon your on-site registration check-in.

What forms of payment are accepted for registration?
Accepted forms of payment in USD include:

For Bank Transfer or Company Check - you will receive instructions for paying by bank transfer or company check with your invoice. You will receive an invoice approximately 5 to 7 business days after submitting your registration.
Payment is due within 30 days of registering. If you register less than 30 days before the start of the conference and your invoice has not been paid you will not be granted access to the event without payment in full on-site in Houston.
How do I receive a paid receipt for my payment?
Once you have registered for the Conference, you will receive a confirmation email from IHS with important event information and a receipt if you paid in full at the time of registration. If you require further information, please contact us at
How do I know if my registration was submitted, will I receive a confirmation?
You will receive a confirmation via email to the email address provided when you registered. Please check your spam folder if you do not receive this confirmation.

How do I make a modification to my registration badge?
To make a modification to your registration badge, click the
and log back into the system with your confirmation number which was provided on your confirmation letter. You can then modify your registration or upload your profile picture.
Why should I upload a photo when registering?
All delegate badges provided on-site include a delegate photo for security purposes. Uploading a photo before the conference makes for a much faster check-in and allows delegates to have a more professional photo than one taken with a webcam on-site.
What type of picture should I upload?
The best profile pictures are around 200x200 pixels such as passport style headshots. These photos will be used for identification purposes on name badges.
What is included in my registration fee?
Your conference registration provides you a conference badge, access to the conference sessions, keynotes, refreshment breaks, breakfasts, lunch, open dinners, and conference materials.
What do I need to present at the registration desk to receive my materials and credentials on-site?
You must have a government issued photo id to check in at registration. If you bring your printed confirmation with bar-code you will be able to use the express check-in line.
If I am unable to attend, what is the cancellation policy?
Please review the terms and conditions that you accepted during the online registration process. Note that IHS does not provide refunds for cancellations. You may provide a substitution for your registration limited to another colleague from your organization, subject to IHS approval. Substitutions: If any delegate is unable to attend we will accept a substitute delegate at no extra cost within 48 hours of the start of the conference. Please notify us by email at
Is reserved seating available at the Conference?
No. In general, seating at all sessions, dinners and events, are on a first-come, first-served basis.
What is the conference dress attire?
The dress code is formal business attire.
Does the conference provide Simultaneous Translation?
Translation is available for conference-wide and select concurrent sessions in Russian and Chinese.

Copies of the delegate lists are not provided in advance. However, copies of the printed delegate lists are included in your delegate materials that you will receive on-site.
