Susan is a Senior Consultant with the US Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office, where she produced the inaugural Deploy23, a conference focussed on accelerating commercial scale deployment.  A seasoned business executive, entrepreneur, and advisor, Susan works at the intersection of climate, disruptive technologies and industry.  

Susan believes in the power of bringing people together to drive impact, and has launched three other major conferences around climate and the energy transition - at IHS Markit, she launched the Innovation Agora @ CERAWeek; for New Energy Finance, later purchased by Bloomberg, she started the BNEF Summit Series; and with Emerald Technology Ventures, the European Venture Fair, a unique conference by and for corporate, institutional and independent investors focussed on the transition to a net zero emissions world.  

Susan is a trustee and independent director on several boards and a Connection Science Fellow at MIT. Susan started her career as a banker at UBS and Chase, and graduated from Harvard - Radcliffe College in the History of Science, Magna cum Laude.
