Sung Hur holds the position of Executive Vice President of Global Business Development & Projects and Renewable Energy Development. He is a member of the executive leadership team for the Petrochemical Company. Prior to joining LG Chem, he served as president of the country for bp in Korea, where he oversaw diverse businesses. Over his career spanning more than 31 years he has lead significant businesses & roles in bp and LG Chem including global business development & projects, renewable energy development, country president, a joint venture company president, marketing, sales & logistics, strategy & planning, engineering, and plant operations. Sung Hur earned a bachelor of science degree in Aerospace Engineering and masters of science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, Illinois.
