Ross D. Groffman is a Vice President at NextEra Energy Resources, LLC. He leads NextEra’s hydrogen development business. Mr. Groffman was responsible for NextEra's development M&A team, and prior to that, Northeast and Canadian origination and development activities including energy storage, utility scale solar, and wind energy. Previously at NextEra he was a Director in the Canadian wind development group and was a Project Director in the Midwest wind development group. Prior to NextEra he was an investment banker focused on M&A and restructuring at Loeb Partners. Mr. Groffman is a Board Member of The Advanced Energy Center at Stoney Brook University, on the Boards of Directors of The Northeast Energy and Commerce Association, and is a graduate of The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
