Chief Manufacturing Officer

Michael is the Chief Manufacturing Officer for HIF Global. He has 40 years experience in methanol and related industries, including the world’s first methanol-to-gasoline plant in New Zealand. He has originated, developed & implemented methanol projects globally. As SVP Global Operations during 2010-2013, Michael had responsibility for all Methanex’s operating plants, large projects and the corporate EHS function. Michael has a degree in chemical & process engineering from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand.
