Katie Ellet was appointed president, Hydrogen Energy and Mobility of Air Liquide North America in October 2021. Air Liquide is a pioneer in the hydrogen market, with over 60 years of experience across the entire hydrogen value chain, from production, distribution and storage, to the development of end-use applications. Air Liquide has invested more than $1 billion into hydrogen in the U.S., and more than $5 billion worldwide. It is committed to investing another $10 billion globally, in the entire low-carbon hydrogen value chain by 2035. As head of Air Liquide Hydrogen Energy and Mobility in North America, Katie leads the growing and dynamic hydrogen energy team at the forefront of the highly competitive North American hydrogen mobility market. Katie has 25 years of extensive experience in the chemical and oil and gas industries. She previously held senior leadership positions in the areas of strategic market development, business intelligence and brand strategy. Her last role before joining Air Liquide was vice president, Oilfield Solutions, SI Group. Katie holds a Master of Chemical Engineering degree and an MBA certificate. She is based in Houston, Texas.
