Dr. Justin Briggs is Co-Founder and COO of Antora Energy, a startup building thermal energy storage products to deliver reliable, zero-carbon heat and power around the clock. At Antora, Dr. Briggs has played a variety of roles, including Chief Technology Officer where he led technology development for Antora's core storage and power conversion technologies. Dr Briggs holds a B.S. in physics from UC Berkeley and a Ph.D. in applied physics from Stanford University. During his Ph.D., Dr. Briggs developed next-generation renewable energy technology, with a focus on cost-effective climate solutions and solid-state energy conversion. His research studied the properties and performance of high-temperature materials for energy generation and storage applications.
