Hydrogen Infrastructure Manager

James is a Hydrogen Infrastructure Manager with the Fuel Cell Solutions group at Toyota Motor North America. His role includes a number of business development activities to expand the adoption of fuel cell electric vehicles in the U.S., namely the Toyota Mirai and Toyota’s Project Portal Class 8 truck. Before joining Toyota, James supported the Department of Energy’s Fuel Cell Technologies Office as a Science and Technology Policy Fellow. He holds an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California Irvine, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Idaho.

    Moving with Hydrogen: Cars and Trucks

    Hydrogen- and electricity-powered vehicles can reduce greenhouse gas and smog forming emissions. Policy incentives for vehicles, fuel, and refueling infrastructure are necessary to drive technological innovation and mass adoption necessary to reduce cost. Battery electric vehicles currently have a clear lead for passenger vehicles, but the race to deploy zero emission vehicles has just begun. Can hydrogen move you?
