CCUS Project Lifecycles: Thinking bigger and faster

Scaling up and expanding the number of carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS)-related projects globally is a well-known challenge for the energy industry to help meet net-zero goals. Several very large-scale projects are already planned across multiple regions. Yet challenges in delivering CCUS projects remain at various stages, from permitting and approvals and geological and technical studies to project execution. Which project types and locations have the advantage for faster delivery of projects? What regulatory, technical or commercial solutions are most likely to shorten project lifecycles? What is the outlook for faster delivery as these projects become more commonplace?
