Andrei Utkin

S&P Global

Associate Director

Andrei Utkin, Associate Director for the Global Clean Energy Technology team at S&P Global Commodity Insights, focuses on renewable power markets worldwide and leads S&P Global’s offshore wind research and analysis capabilities. Mr. Utkin’s responsibilities include global renewable markets research, contribution to long-term forecasts, cost projections, and asset ownership worldwide. He also works on global scenarios and assists with detailed Multiclient Studies. Mr. Utkin has more than 12 years of project management experience in energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. Before joining S&P Global, he worked with Enertime SA as a project manager of Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) cogeneration power plant projects based on renewable energy sources. Prior to that, he worked in Belarus as a project manager of energy efficiency projects and as an energy efficiency consultant. Mr. Utkin holds a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering (Power Plant Construction and Engineering Services Faculty) from the Belarusian National Technical University in Minsk and a master’s degree in international energy from Sciences Po in Paris. He is fluent in Russian, Belarusian, Ukrainian, English, and French.
