Vice President, Americas Large Projects Development

Dr. Amer Akhras is Vice President of Americas Large Projects Development, where he leads the development of Linde’s large capital investments, including those in clean energy projects focusing on Hydrogen and Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage. He joined Linde (formerly Praxair) in 1997 and has served in a variety of roles including R&D, sales, hydrogen/syngas business management, and global hydrogen business development. Immediately prior to his current role, Dr. Akhras served as Linde’s President of Global Helium and Rare Gases. Dr. Akhras earned his Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from the University of Virginia, and both masters and doctorate degrees in chemical engineering from Princeton University.
