Press Guidelines

CERAWeek 2024 media registration guidelines

All members of the media interested in attending CERAWeek 2024 are required to apply for accreditation. 

Applications are subject to approval and can be submitted here.

As always, the CERAWeek Media Relations Team is happy to provide a designated media work room as part of our conference-wide efforts to make journalists’ experiences convenient and productive at the conference. 

CERAWeek 2024 Media Work Room Amenities:

  • Fully-staffed Media Work Room adjacent to the CERAWeek Briefing Room 
  • Television monitors with closed-circuit video of conference sessions 
  • Wi-Fi internet access 
  • Food and beverages 
  • Audio mult box 
Due to space limitations, CERAWeek reserves the right to impose a limit on the number of registrations for certain organizations, as may be required. Registrations are not transferable.

Guidelines and Attribution Policy for Registered Journalists at CERAWeek

General Policies/Restrictions

The following CERAWeek sessions are CLOSED to press. 

  • Insight Dinners – Monday, March 18, 7:30pm
  • Lyceum Program Sessions
  • All other CERAWeek sessions listed on the main conference program are open to journalists unless otherwise stated. 
  • Any sessions that are CLOSED to news media will also be listed in the CERAWeek Media Work Room

Audio Policies/Restrictions

  • Audio recording devices are permitted unless otherwise stated. A mult box is available in the press work room and media briefing room (Rooms 343 A/B and 344 A/B). 
  • Audio recordings of CERAWeek sessions or events in their entirety are not to be publicly distributed without express written permission from S&P Global. 

Video Policies/Restrictions

  • No video recording of any kind is permitted inside CERAWeek sessions without express written permission from S&P Global.
  • On-camera interviews are permitted in the media briefing room and designated filming areas. 
  • Video recording in the prefunction areas (lobby areas outside of the conference rooms) on floors two and four is permitted from designated areas for the purposes of recording b-roll footage only. Conducting on-camera interviews at these locations is prohibited without advance permission from S&P Global. All on-camera interviews should be conducted at designated filming areas.
  • Live video broadcast is prohibited without express written permission from S&P Global.

Still Photography

  • Still photography by credentialed media is permitted in all conference sessions that are open to media unless otherwise stated. 
  • Still photography in the prefunction areas (lobby areas outside of the conference rooms) on floors two and four is permitted from designated photography areas only.
  • Still photography inside the ballroom during lunches and dinners is permitted only once the sessions speakers have taken the stage. Photographers should refrain from entering the ballroom prior to the start of the on-stage remarks.

CERAWeek Acknowledgment Policy

S&P Global requires that CERAWeek be mentioned in all reports related to its events.

All mentions of the conference should use “CERAWeek by S&P Global” as the conference name for the first mention in each news story (whether print, web or broadcast) and then refer to the conference name as “CERAWeek” for any subsequent mentions within the same news story.

Print

Any article or interview derived from CERAWeek by S&P Global events should mention the conference by referring to “CERAWeek by S&P Global” as the conference name for the first mention in each news story and refer to the conference name as “CERAWeek” for any subsequent mentions within the same news story.

Television/Video

Any program or interview derived from CERAWeek events should mention the conference verbally and/or visibly display the CERAWeek by S&P Global logo. Verbal mentions of the conference should refer to the event as “CERAWeek by S&P Global” for the first mention in each segment and refer to the conference name as “CERAWeek” for any subsequent mentions within the same news story.

Photos

Any published photos of CERAWeek by S&P Global events should mention “CERAWeek by S&P Global” in the photo caption.

Online Publications

Any article or interview related to CERAWeek by S&P Global events should mention “CERAWeek by S&P Global” as the conference name for the first mention in each news story and refer to the conference name as “CERAWeek” for any subsequent mentions within the same news story.

Social Media

Any post related to CERAWeek by S&P Global events should mention the conference.
