Energy Innovation Pioneers

IHS is pleased to announce the IHS CERAWeek 2013 Energy Innovation Pioneers. These companies and entrepreneurs are developing technologies and business plans that are transforming the energy future. IHS selects companies based on their creativity, feasibility of plan, scalability of technology, and leadership team. This year’s pioneers represent a broad cross-section of companies spanning oil, gas, and power.

Now in its eighth year, the Energy Innovation Pioneers program introduces each company at one of three IHS CERAWeek Energy Insight Breakfasts, where the chief executives present their company’s technology and vision, followed by networking and interaction:

  • Tuesday: upstream, processing, and biofuels
  • Wednesday: water management, wastefuels, new materials, and monitoring and assessment
  • Thursday: efficiency, nuclear, renewables, and storage

IHS CERAWeek delegates are also invited to hear from each chief executive in greater detail during our Innovation Pioneer Showcase (see description and schedule below) and interact with them more informally during Wednesday evening’s Innovation Pioneers Reception (held adjacent to the main cocktail hour prior to dinner).

IHS thanks Chevron for its partnership support of the Energy Innovation Pioneers Program.

The Energy Innovation Pioneer Alumni have achieved remarkable successes. We congratulate the firms represented at IHS CERAWeek 2013.

Lastly, we encourage delegates to take part in other IHS CERAWeek sessions focused on innovation, including: New Innovation Strategies to Realize the Energy Future on Tuesday morning, Rethinking the Energy Future with Bill Gates on Thursday evening, and The Anatomy of Genius with Walter Isaacson on Friday morning.

Innovation Pioneer Showcase

Current and past pioneers will present their company, technology, and recent milestones during a series of back-to-back 30 minute presentations held concurrently with the main conference agenda. Pioneer Talks will take place in a draped-off area located near the level 4 escalators and staircase on the West side of the hotel.
